The Importance Of Focus In Life | Now Is The Time For You To Know 7 Things You Probably Didn’t Know
Concentrate on your goals.
At a turning point in life, it's easy to
confuse goals with desires. "I want to be rich. I want to be healthy. I
want to be happy." These are good things to wish for, but they are not
goals. Being rich, healthy or happy are states you want to experience in your
life. They aren't goals. There is meaning in finding your focus.
What ground do you need to be on before you
feel this goal come true? Or what things have to happen in your life before you
know you got there?
Perhaps this goes beyond money and extends
to your entire life. What is wealth? Couldn't that include feeling happy or
feeling healthy? Naturally. It could be the experience of feeling loved or
trusted...or loving others.

Quick Tips. Number 5 is Absolutely Stunning.
Wealth is living life to the fullest.
Accepted:
- What things or conditions will bring you wealth?
- What action should you take?
- Where should you put your focus?
- Acknowledge error, then correct
The same goes for career or business
options. You start with a certain level of enthusiasm to achieve your future
goals. Maybe a little nervous, but hopeful. Then there is some disappointment.
What happens next is critical to your results.
Many people possess disappointment and
frustrate their progress. In situations where you make a mistake, this is not
the time to beat yourself up and fill yourself with negative talk.
How words matter and have power
We can all make mistakes or bad business decisions,
but this is not the time to give up.
It's time to focus and get success.
Acknowledge the error and observe the
situation. What specifically needs to be improved? What things distract you
from your path to achieving your goals?
If something throws you off track to reach
your goal, refocus.
As a human being who lives, breathes and
moves, you have the opportunity to live dynamically. Don't allow yourself to
stay put and do the same things day after day. A personal feedback loop is
valuable. Wherever you are in life in terms of personal goals, business,
career, or your relationships with those around you, take the time to focus
personally.
- What works?
- It is not?
- What needs to be adjusted?
Case Study
How the approach led to changes in my
company
Years ago I started a therapy business and
began helping women deal with the long-term effects of abuse. Through these
sessions we minimized the negative emotional triggers that were interfering
with her daily life. It was always a pleasure to see how the women who came in
scared and emotional transformed into confident and happy people. I'm happy to
say that everyone has seen levels of success. However, some moved there faster
than others.
I realize that I do not own your family
environment. I guess ethically I can't tell them to leave these situations.
Family dynamics and economic factors often played a role in their journey to a
better life. Those with the greatest change were those who severed the
connection between themselves and their abuser.
What was missing?
Each person's situation had similarities,
but also many differences. I kept asking myself, "What's missing? In a
way, I was punishing myself for an answer. Then, after taking the time to focus
on each of the cases, I realized that the women with the most positive changes
were goal-oriented. They were fully aware that their situation was not healthy,
but they also had an idea of how they wanted their life to be.
goals
If a person does not strive for a goal, he
will return to the life he once knew. So fared the two women with slower
progress. At the time I was working on trust and emotional triggers.
As I incorporated goal setting and action
planning into the sessions, I began to see even greater accomplishments than
before. Many of these women have made a new career or reached a higher level.
